About Brooke Air

Brooke Air is a UK manufacturer of air distribution products for commercial, industrial and specialist ventilation applications.

We manufacture standard and bespoke grilles, diffusers, slot diffusers, louvres, plenums and architectural air distribution products for contractors, consultants, architects and original equipment manufacturers.

This is an exciting time to join the business. We are investing in a new 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Southend, providing increased production capacity, an automated powder-coating plant, improved customer demonstration areas, training facilities and space to support the continued growth of the company.

The Role

We are looking for an organised and commercially minded Sales Coordinator to join our team.

This is a varied role combining sales coordination, customer service and limited executive support to the Managing Director. It would suit someone who is confident dealing with customers, comfortable managing multiple priorities and willing to take ownership of actions through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email.
  • Reviewing enquiries and obtaining missing information.
  • Preparing quotations for standard and project-based products.
  • Coordinating technical input where required.
  • Following up open quotations and recording project updates.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM and ERP records.
  • Reviewing purchase orders against quotations.
  • Coordinating information between sales, technical, production and despatch.
  • Providing customers with updates on pricing, lead times and orders.
  • Hosting customers and consultants at our manufacturing facility.
  • Supporting factory tours, product demonstrations, CPDs and customer meetings.
  • Attending occasional customer visits and industry events.

Support to the Managing Director

A smaller part of the role will involve providing support to the Managing Director, including:

  • Arranging meetings and preparing agendas.
  • Recording decisions and actions from selected meetings.
  • Following up agreed actions with relevant employees.
  • Assisting with reports, presentations and internal communications.
  • Supporting selected commercial and business improvement projects.
  • Coordinating occasional travel, events and customer hospitality.
  • Handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in sales coordination, sales administration, customer service, internal sales or executive support.

You should have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and numerical ability.
  • Confidence dealing with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face.
  • Strong organisational and follow-up skills.
  • The ability to manage several priorities at the same time.
  • Experience using CRM, ERP or quotation systems.
  • Good Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.

Experience in manufacturing, construction, building services, HVAC or technical sales would be beneficial but is not essential.

Development

Training will be provided on Brooke Air’s products and systems.

The role offers exposure to customers, manufacturing, sales, leadership meetings and commercial projects, with potential progression into internal sales, estimating, account management or wider commercial roles.
