About the Hotel
The 4-star Mercure Manchester Norton Grange Hotel and Spa sits amidst tranquil countryside and landscaped grounds, 8 miles from Manchester city centre. With 81 contemporary guest rooms (featuring wireless internet and satellite TV), the hotel offers:
- Grange Restaurant: Elegant dining
- Pickwick Bar & Restaurant: Recently refurbished
- Spa facilities: Indoor heated pool, fitness room, and massage treatments
- Function rooms: Accommodating events for up to 200 guests
Role Overview
We are seeking an outgoing and bubbly Sales Coordinator to drive new business growth while nurturing existing corporate and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Maximise new business opportunities and expand existing revenue
- Forge and strengthen relationships within MICE and corporate sectors
- Generate nonexisting leads while maintaining account retention
- Collaborate with:
- Other department heads
- GM on promotions, events, and high-value guests
- Teams (internal/external) to deliver high-touch service
- Monitor market trends and seize sales opportunities proactively

Requirements
- Proven sales experience (preferably in hotel/venue roles)
- natural 'people-person' charisma (smart + confident)
- Hospitality experience: advantage but not essential
- Practical expertise in promotions, events, and guest relationship management
