Sales Coordinator - Freight
Shift: 4 days on 4 days off
Hours: 6am - 6pm
Duration: 12 month Maternity Cover

The Role
An exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator to join our busy Supply Chain team. Applications are invited from committed, reliable and proactive individuals, capable of operating efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic working environment. Candidates will have strong administrative and communication skills, be highly organised and have exceptional attention to detail. The Sales Coordinator plays a key role within the Supply Chain team, supporting the Procurement and Commercial teams and associated departments, ensuring a smooth operation for customer consignments. Also providing support for the wholesale, foodservice and market operations, with the administration of transport processes. Candidates will be strong team players, with a methodical approach and driven to deliver a first class service at all times.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with all service providers
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with customers, both internal and external
- Management of the day-to-day customer account administration
- Accurate data entry and management, including invoice processing, sales order generating and all transport outbound processes
- Book and manage transport in line with customer delivery requirements
- Confirm and update haulage charges in sales orders
- Timely and accurate communication of sales requirements to the relevant departments
- Generating pallet tickets for outbound orders
- Effective use and management of customer order platforms as required
- Timely checking of invoices, authorising and applying to Prophet
- Deal with order queries and support sales opportunities through the process

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Previous administration support/coordination experience
- Previous experience of customs administration/import/export procedures - desirable
- International logistical/shipping knowledge - desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, emails and the internet
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English
