BSS Industrial is a leading distributor of heating, pipeline, and mechanical services equipment, with over 110 years of experience. We support customers across the building services and industrial sectors through a strong branch network and expert teams.
What you’ll do
- Understand customer needs and support the external Account Manager
- Use CRM and Sales Hub systems to generate leads and sales opportunities
- Manage customer enquiries from first contact to invoice
- Recommend products and alternatives to maximise sales
- Achieve personal sales targets while managing margins
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Provide a central point of contact for customer queries
- Maintain accurate sales and credit documentation
- Support stock takes when required
- Always work safely and follow company procedures

What we’re looking for
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
- Strong sales awareness and desire to succeed
- Experience in a phone-based or customer service role is helpful
- Organised, proactive and able to prioritise
- Comfortable working independently and in a team
- IT literate with good numerical skills
- Product knowledge is desirable but not essential
No experience? No problem.
We offer a 12-month apprenticeship and full training to help you develop into a customer sales expert.
