We are recruiting for a Sales & Design Consultant to work across our three busy London furniture showrooms. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn about our products and get stuck in selling them. They should pride themselves on giving exemplary service whilst working as part of a small team to hit sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Being the first point of contact for customers face to face, over the phone or via email.
  • Promoting and selling our extensive range of furniture to a wide range of customers with different projects, from single sofas to furnishing whole properties.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients by providing outstanding customer service.
  • Understanding our clients’ needs and using our products to help solve their furniture requirements, whether that be finding stock available for quick delivery or proposing custom options that the customer is happy to wait for.
  • Going above and beyond to meet the clients’ needs and taking initiative to solve any barriers that arise during the sales process.
  • Creating quotations, sales receipts and delivery notes for all enquiries and sales. Paperwork should be correctly filled and entered within our sales order system. An attention to detail and daily checklists are required for all orders to ensure delays and errors are minimised.
  • Following up with customers regularly, to see how they’re getting on with their furniture hunt.
  • Liaising with the delivery team to ensure orders are delivered as expected.
  • Supporting the Showroom Manager in the day to day management of the showrooms by keeping it clean, tidy and well stocked with brochures, samples and other stationary.
  • Staying organised and customer focused, even when under pressure.
  • Working weekends and understanding this is the busiest time of the week with maximum opportunity to generate sales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
