Role Description

The Sales Designer role at Wren Kitchens in Newtownabbey is a full-time, on-site position focused on guiding customers through the full kitchen and bedroom design and sales journey. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:

  • Managing customer appointments
  • Following up on leads
  • Maintaining accurate records in internal systems
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure an efficient and positive showroom experience

Sales Designers are expected to deliver excellent customer service, meet sales targets ethically, and uphold Wren’s standards of design quality and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills to listen actively, explain design concepts clearly, and liaise effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on building trust, handling inquiries professionally, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end experience.
  • Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath Design skills to create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts tailored to different tastes and budgets.
  • Sales skills, including consultative selling, handling objections, and working towards sales targets in an ethical and customer-centered manner.
  • Ability to use or learn digital design software and showroom technology confidently.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing appointments, quotations, and customer documentation.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekends and peak trading periods.
  • Previous experience in retail, design, or sales is beneficial; relevant qualifications in design or a related field are an advantage.
