Sales Development Executive (Entry Level)

Birmingham City Centre | Full-Time | Permanent | On-Site

£25,000 guaranteed base salary + commission paid on top.

This is not a commission-only role.

Let's be upfront, because most sales ads aren't. This is a face-to-face sales role. Your base salary of £25,000 is guaranteed and paid regardless of results. Commission is earned on top, typically £40 to £70 per completed sale, and it is variable, not promised. If you've been burned by "unlimited earnings" adverts that turned out to be commission-only, this is the opposite of that.

You'll be based at our Birmingham city centre office, working Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, no evenings or weekends. The job is simple to explain: you represent established UK brands in person, speak with customers, understand what they need, and complete sales. Full training is provided from day one, so no previous sales experience is required.

What you'll actually do

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
