Sales Development Manager

Location: Hybrid (mix of home working and travel to key internal and external meetings- for which the location could vary)

Salary/ Benefits: 25 Days Annual Leave, Hybrid Working, Life Assurance, Group Income Protection, Annual Well Being & Training Allowance

The Role

Mission & Responsibilities: To proactively expand Entegra’s market reach in the UK&I by identifying, engaging, and nurturing high-potential prospects through targeted outbound outreach — building a sustainable pipeline of qualified opportunities, strengthening future client relationships, and contributing to the growth and maturity of our sales development capability alongside our BDM team.

In this role, you will be responsible for outbound outreach activities to generate new leads, build relationships, and arrange meetings with potential clients. Your main focus will be on expanding our external reach and driving new business opportunities through innovative strategies and targeted campaigns.

  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and other channels to generate new leads and build a strong prospect pipeline.
  • Develop and implement outreach programmes and data-driven campaigns to optimise reach and engagement.
  • Build and maintain targeted data sets to identify and connect with potential clients.
  • Organise and attend meetings with prospects, ensuring effective follow-up and nurturing of leads.
  • Track and report on outreach activities, meetings booked, and lead progression via Salesforce CRM.
  • Lead and manage the Sales Development Representative(s) in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including performance, development, capability, engagement etc. Ensuring that they are achieving the targets set.

The Successful Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in outbound sales or sales development, with a proven track record of generating leads and booking meetings. They should be confident in making outbound calls, sending targeted emails, and using data to identify new prospects.

  • Experience of working with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and developing outreach campaigns is essential.
  • Motivated to develop their skills and take ownership of their role.
  • Demonstrate a desire to grow within the organisation and contribute to building and leading a sales development team in the future.
  • Strong communication skills are important, particularly the ability to clearly articulate value propositions over the phone and email.
  • Comfortable engaging with potential clients at all levels and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Proactive, organised, and capable of working independently to meet targets.
  • This role offers the opportunity for the right individual to develop their sales career, with potential to lead and grow the sales development function as the team expands.
