At Rockborne, we're dedicated to helping organisations unlock the value of data. Through consulting, training, and talent solutions, we partner with businesses to build the data capabilities they need to succeed.
As our business continues to grow, we're investing heavily in our commercial function and are now looking for a Sales Development Manager to build and lead our SDR team.
This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage, shape the outbound sales strategy, hire and develop a team, and play a key role in driving Rockborne's future growth.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on sales leader who can combine strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
You won't be inheriting a large, established team. Instead, you'll help build the SDR function from the ground up, initially leading a team of three SDRs while remaining actively involved in generating opportunities yourself.
You'll work closely with our CEO, Growth Director, and wider commercial team to define how we approach outbound sales, identify new markets, develop targeted campaigns, and create a high-performing sales culture.
This role would suit someone who has progressed through an SDR environment themselves and is excited by the opportunity to build something rather than simply maintain it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
