Sales Development Representative At Gradient Labs, we’re building an AI agent to redefine customer experience and operational efficiency in the financial services sector. Founded in 2023, we’ve quickly gone from an idea to a growing team with customers you know (and probably love). Our powerful AI agent is unique: it’s the only AI operations agent built specifically for financial services, handling even the trickiest, high-stakes customer queries safely and effectively. Crucially, it serves as one unified agent across the entirety of your customer operations, giving businesses the comprehensive visibility and control they need to trust all outcomes. We’re a small but mighty team of builders from leading companies like Monzo, Pleo, and Google. If you’re excited to tackle some of the hardest problems in AI and help shape the future of customer operations and experience, we’d love to hear from you. 🎯 How you’ll make an impact As a Sales Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in driving market expansion in the Americas/Europe. You'll lay the foundation for our sales motion by engaging with prospects across the financial services sector, helping them understand the value of our AI agent through creative, well-researched, and highly personalised outreach. Strategic account targeting: partner with Enterprise AEs to prioritise high-conviction accounts across banking, fintech, lending, and insurance. Multi-channel prospecting: generate pipeline through cold calling, personalised email, and LinkedIn outreach that lands with C-level buyers. AI-powered workflows: operate and tune tools for research, enrichment, sequencing, and signal monitoring so your time goes to the highest-value interactions. First impressions: act as the first human touch from Gradient Labs, representing us as a trusted advisor from the opening message. Product and market expertise: build real depth in our product, the financial services market, and where AI in customer operations is heading. Cross-functional impact: feed sharp field signal back to Marketing, Sales Ops, and Product to compound targeting, messaging, and conversion. The craft of sales: develop the skills that take you from BDR to top-performing AE, from discovery to objection handling to stakeholder mapping. 💡 What you’ll bring Career ambition: you're hungry to develop into a world-class seller and communicate sharply, on a call and in writing. Entrepreneurship: you're a self-starter who would rather build the playbook than wait for one. Genuine curiosity: you ask insightful questions, listen well, and stay close to the AI category and the financial services market. Multi-channel instinct: you use modern engagement tools across phone, email, and LinkedIn, and you're not afraid of the phone. AI-assisted workflows: you've used tools like Clay, Apollo, or Outreach to enrich, sequence, or research at scale. Growth mindset: you seek feedback and treat every week as a chance to get sharper. Results orientation: you raise the bar on quota, progression, and the people around you. Why join Gradient Labs? This is a unique chance to be part of a team working with cutting-edge technology to reshape how businesses will operate in the future. Over the next 10 years, every company will need to embrace AI-powered operations to stay competitive, and this role puts you right in the middle of that transformation. You’ll tackle challenging and new problems, work with some of the most exciting brands across different industries, and be surrounded by a passionate, smart team that’s driven to build something groundbreaking.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
