About The Team And Role
Sales Development Representative
The Sales Development team at GBG plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. Our team is made up of driven professionals who excel at connecting with prospects, understanding their needs, and positioning GBG's solutions effectively.
Known for our commitment to best-in-class sales practices, we deliver value through insightful conversations, deep industry expertise, and proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams.
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for:
- Proactively generating and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Engaging with prospects through reason-based outreach efforts.
- Partnering with key business stakeholders to build a robust pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate business opportunities through outbound calls, targeted emails, and social media engagement
- Build deep knowledge of key industry sectors and articulate how GBG’s solutions deliver measurable value
- Plan, execute, and manage extended sales campaigns to drive consistent pipeline activity across:
- Daily/weekly/monthly sales campaigns
- Strategic research for tailored account outreach
- Deliver against established activity metrics and revenue targets
- Collaborate with the New Business Sales team to support sector-specific initiatives, including localised awareness and adoption campaigns
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

- Proven track record in a Sales Development Representative role or comparable sales background
- Experience in a performance-driven environment with demonstrated ability to hit targets
- Familiarity with constructing effective propositions for tech-based products or SaaS solutions is a strong advantage
- Collaborative mindset with experience contributing to sales or marketing strategies
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with discipline to maintain accurate CRM data
- Energetic, self-motivated, and target-driven with commercial acumen
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of navigating stakeholder discussions and presenting proposals with confidence
