Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative to join our Sales International team and introduce clients to our world of texture, pattern, and design. In this role, you will be the face of Phillip Jeffries to the design community, helping bring extraordinary spaces to life. You will report to our UK Sales Manager and must be based in London or Greater London territory.
What You’ll Be Doing
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identifying high-potential prospects through defined criteria and business insights
- Profiling accounts by uncovering key decision-makers and early business needs
- Executing strategic cold outreach from curated lead sources
- Introducing our brand to new clients with compelling, scripted messaging
- Nurturing relationships and qualifying leads for our outside sales team
- Using curated sales materials to educate and inspire prospective clients
Selling & Client Experience
- Supporting assigned accounts and growing a loyal client base
- Recognizing cross-selling opportunities to enhance interiors with seamless sophistication
- Capturing and optimizing High Performing Activities in our CRM to meet targets
- Sending thoughtful follow-ups—thank you notes, product mailers, and more
- Providing tailored service, including product quotes and stock checks
- Facilitating sample and mailer requests with precision and care
- Managing reserve requests and providing ETA & product status updates proactively
- Delivering timely responses through phone and email with grace and professionalism
- Serving as a trusted design concierge for product selections and service guidance

What You Bring to the Table
- Located in London or Greater London
- 3+ years of successful experience in sales, sales development, or telesales; preferably within the design or interiors industry
- Proven track record of generating leads, building pipeline, and converting opportunities into sales
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Experience working with a CRM platform and managing activity, pipeline, and follow-up consistently
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with strong time management and self-discipline
- Proactive approach to prospecting, including cold outreach and developing new business opportunities
- Naturally curious, with strong listening skills and the ability to ask thoughtful, open-ended questions
- Highly motivated, competitive, and driven to achieve and exceed goals
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Comfortable adapting your communication style to different client personalities and needs
- Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and learn
