SDR — Climate Tech SaaS | Central London | £35-42k Base + OTE

Do you want to sell something that actually matters?

MapMortar is a ClimateTech startup that helps the UK's biggest landlords, lenders, and asset managers future-proof their property portfolios against tightening regulation, climate risk, and the threat of stranded assets — protecting valuations with intelligent capital planning for retrofit. We've raised $4.5m, won national awards, and we're growing fast. Now we need a driven SDR to help us scale.

This is not a boiler-room numbers game. Our pipeline is targeted, our brand is warm, and the problem we solve is urgent. Your job is to open doors at exactly the right companies, at exactly the right time — and book meetings that convert.

What you'll actually be doing

You'll own the top of funnel. That means working a curated HubSpot lead list, building smart outbound sequences, getting on the phone, and booking discovery meetings.

You'll also help us get better. If a sequence isn't landing, you'll say so and test something new. You'll work closely with our marketing lead to align outbound with campaign activity. You'll map corporate structures inside our ICP — landlords, commercial asset managers, sustainability consultants — and find the right person to call.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The targets are real. The autonomy is real. The support is real.

Who we're looking for

You'll bring 1-2 years of B2B sales behind you and want to progress in SaaS with real deal values (6-figure +).

What you must have:

  • A real phone presence — you like talking to people, and it shows
  • The ability to write copy that cuts through — short, clear, value-led
  • Enough self-direction to not need hand-holding
  • A genuine interest in climate, sustainability, or the built environment — not a degree in it, just a reason to care

Bonus points if you've used HubSpot, Instantly, or AI-powered sales tools. We use Claude workflows internally, and we'll teach you to use them well.

What you'll get

  • £35-40k base salary + uncapped commission
  • Direct daily access to a senior GTM leader — this is real mentorship, not a manager you see once a quarter
  • A hybrid setup with a great central London base
  • The chance to work in one of the most commercially exciting sectors in ClimateTech — our deals are complex, high-value, and genuinely worth closing
  • A small, high-trust team where your results are visible and your contribution is recognised
