Sales Development Representative

Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Construction Tech

Hybrid (WFH-Office) – UK & Ireland


About the Role

Fieldwire by Hilti is hiring. This opportunity is for a dynamic and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the Hilti GB team and play a key role in growing Fieldwire’s footprint in the construction industry by identifying and qualifying new small and mid-sized business (SMB) leads.

Ideal for someone eager to break into tech sales, learn from a high-performing team, and thrive in a fast-paced, impactful environment.


Responsibilities

As an SDR at Fieldwire, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, driving top-of-funnel activity and:

  • Qualify and engage inbound leads from the Freemium sign-up flow and marketing campaigns, as well as leads from Hilti customers
  • Conduct targeted outbound outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate qualified opportunities
  • Identify and connect with key stakeholders, including construction professionals at SMBs
  • Schedule discovery calls and product demos for the Account Executive team
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Construction Solutions Specialists to build pipeline
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM
  • Develop a deep understanding of Fieldwire’s construction management platform and its value proposition
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity and opportunity generation targets

Requirements

We’re looking for a coachable, motivated, and curious candidate with:

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (entry-level roles accepted!)

  • Strong communication skills – clear, persuasive writing (emails, LinkedIn), and verbal articulation

  • Comfort with a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment

  • Bonus points for prior experience with:

    • Outbound sales tools (Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce)
    • An interest in construction tech or SaaS
  • Desire to learn quickly, connect with people, and contribute to high-growth innovation

Compensation & Structure

  • Estimated pay range:

    • OTE (on-target earnings): £55,000
    • Base salary: Approximately £38,000
  • Potential for an additional compensation variable bonus (up to £17,000).

Salary offers will reflect experience, skills, and qualifications.


Location & Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid model: Balanced between WFH and office work
  • Headquarters location: Manchester, UK
  • Responsible for UK & Ireland-based leads
