Sales Development Representative (SDR)

London | Hybrid | £40K base, £20K Commission (£60K On Target)

Mor Search has been exclusively instructed to appoint the first UK Sales Development Representative for an established, high-growth legal technology company launching its UK operation.

This is a unique opportunity to join the founding UK commercial team and play a key role in building the company's presence in a new market. You'll work closely with experienced sales leaders to create pipeline, develop new business opportunities and help shape the outbound sales motion from day one.

The business has already built strong foundations internationally and is now investing heavily in UK growth.

The Opportunity

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, identifying target accounts and creating conversations with legal professionals across the UK.

This role is perfect for a high-performing transactional salesperson who wants to make the move into software sales and build a long-term career in SaaS. You'll receive the coaching, support and exposure needed to develop into a successful technology salesperson.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified meetings through outbound prospecting via phone, email and LinkedIn.
  • Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers within law firms and legal teams.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Engage prospects through thoughtful, relevant outreach.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to support revenue growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity and reporting.
  • Share market feedback to improve messaging and outbound strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 12 months' experience as an SDR/BDR, or a strong track record in a high-volume sales environment such as telesales, inside sales or transactional sales.
  • Someone who has consistently worked towards targets and enjoys a competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with new people.
  • Resilient, ambitious and motivated by personal development.
  • A coachable mindset with the drive to build a career in technology sales.

Legal tech or SaaS experience is not required. This role is designed for someone with proven sales ability who is ready to take the next step into software sales.
