Sales Delivery Recruiter | SaaS & Technology Start-Ups

Location: Manchester

Level: Graduate / E Junior

Type: Full-Time

The Role

This is a fast-track into one of the most commercially rewarding careers available — placing Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product and Engineering professionals into some of the most exciting SaaS and technology start-ups in the market.

You will operate as a Delivery Recruiter — meaning your focus is pure search, sourcing and candidate engagement. No cold calling into the unknown. No chasing clients from scratch. You will work on live mandates, mapping markets, headhunting talent and building pipelines of exceptional professionals across the full go-to-market and product function of high-growth SaaS businesses.

If you have spent time in an SDR role — working to metrics, managing outreach at volume, building rapport quickly over the phone and understanding what makes a strong commercial conversation — this role is a natural next step. You already know how to work a pipeline. Now you get to build one with real long-term value.

What You Will Do

  • Source, identify and engage mid-to-senior level candidates across Sales (AEs, AMs, SDRs, Sales Directors, VPs), Marketing, Operations, Product Management and Software Engineering
  • Execute targeted headhunting campaigns across LinkedIn, job boards, databases and your growing personal network
  • Conduct structured candidate interviews and produce detailed assessment reports for hiring managers
  • Build and manage talent pipelines across multiple concurrent mandates in fast-moving SaaS start-up environments
  • Develop deep market knowledge across the SaaS landscape — understanding the companies, the people and the roles that matter
  • Partner closely with senior consultants and client leads to ensure every shortlist hits the brief

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone who has:

  • 6–18 months experience as an SDR, BDR or inside sales representative — you understand outreach, metrics and pipeline management
  • A track record of hitting activity targets and converting conversations into outcomes
  • The confidence to pick up the phone and engage senior professionals in a compelling, credible way
  • Strong written communication — your outreach messages get replies
  • A genuine interest in the SaaS and tech start-up world

You are:

  • 🔋 High energy — this business moves fast and the people in it move faster. You bring energy into a room, not out of it. Extroverts thrive here; if you come alive in conversations, on the phone and around people, you will fit right in.
  • 🧠 Humble but with a big ego — you back yourself. You want to be the best in the room at what you do. But you don't need to tell everyone about it. Arrogance is the fastest way out of this business; quiet confidence and a hunger to prove yourself is what drives success here.
  • 🔍 Genuinely curious — you ask questions most people don't think to ask. You want to understand why people do what they do, what makes a business tick, what's happening in the market. You read. You listen. You're always looking to learn and grow — not because someone told you to, but because that's just how you're wired.

Why Delivery Recruitment?

Most people think recruitment means cold BD. Delivery recruitment is different. Your job is to find the best people in the market, not to generate the work. That means:

  • You operate within an existing client base on live, funded mandates from day one
  • Your success is measured by the quality of your shortlists and the speed of your delivery — not your cold call count
  • You build a network of candidates who become long-term relationships — and who refer others, come back when they're hiring, and become clients themselves over time
  • The earning potential is real — commission on every placement, in a market where fees are meaningful and start-ups move fast

What Is On Offer

  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
  • Full training on search methodology, candidate engagement and the SaaS talent landscape
  • Build a career as a specialist researcher and market expert — own your niche, own your network
  • A high-energy, metrics-driven environment that will feel immediately familiar if you've worked in sales
  • Real exposure to the SaaS start-up ecosystem — the companies, the people and the commercial conversations that shape it
