This is a 100% in-person role at our Toronto office.
About the Role
We’re hiring an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive net-new pipeline. This is a frontline, prospecting-focused role. You’ll be powering the engine that fills the top of our funnel.
Daily, you’ll:
- Research target accounts
- Run outbound campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Qualify prospects who engage
- Book discovery meetings for our Account Executives

You’ll start conversations with people who’ve never heard of us and turn the right conversations into qualified opportunities.
This is an entry-level role. We’re looking for hunger and coachability over experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and research: Identify target accounts, key contacts, and build a point of view on why they’d care about PheedLoop.
- Run outbound outreach: Execute personalized cold email, calls, and LinkedIn outreach using multi-touch sequences to kickstart conversations.
- Qualify and book meetings: Conduct initial conversations to assess fit and intent, booking discovery calls for Account Executives.
- Hand off cleanly: Capture conversation context so account execs walk into meetings fully prepared.
- Own your pipeline: Maintain accurate prospect records, activities, and next steps in the CRM.
- Hit your targets: Consistently meet daily activity and monthly qualified-meeting goals.
What You’ll Bring
- Drive and resilience: Not deterred by rejection—outbound is about chasing the "yes" through plenty of "no."
- Strong communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive in both writing and on the phone.
- Coachability: Eager to learn, open to feedback, and ready to adapt quickly.
- Organization: Efficiently manage your time, follow-ups, and CRM without things slipping between the cracks.
- Curiosity: Genuinely interested in prospects’ problems and how PheedLoop solves them.
- 0–1 year experience: Recent grads and early-career candidates welcome; no prior BDR experience required.

Bonus Skills: All-Star Qualities
- Experience or internships at a fast-paced tech company, SaaS, or startup
- Familiarity with a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, etc)
- Knowledge of—or curiosity about—the events industry
Who You Are

- Comfortable picking up the phone and talking to strangers.

- Adaptable—can follow processes while refining your approach based on what works.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $50,000 CAD
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $20,000 CAD
