Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Development Representative role based in Essex. The Sales Development Representative will identify and qualify prospective business clients through outbound calls, emails, and networking activities.

- Researching target companies
- Generating leads
- Setting introductory meetings
- Maintaining accurate records in CRM systems
The role involves collaborating closely with senior brokers and the business development team to nurture opportunities and support tailored insurance solutions. The Sales Development Representative will regularly follow up with prospects, share insights on commercial insurance offerings, and contribute to achieving revenue and growth targets.
Qualifications
- Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience identifying and qualifying prospective business clients.
- Proficiency in Sales and Business Development, including building pipelines, managing opportunities, and supporting closing activities.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment in London, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience using CRM tools and basic office software to track leads and report on activities and results.
- Prior experience in B2B sales, financial services, or insurance is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to learn quickly, handle objections professionally, and maintain a consultative, non-pressured approach to client outreach.
