I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What’s in it for you?
- Earning Potential – A base salary of £25K with an exceptional commission structure where you will earn up 30% of the revenue you generate. The top performing BDM is currently clearing £6k per month in commission alone (we can show the evidence of this!)
- Salary Increase - If you hit your target for 3 months consistently, your base salary will increase by 1k every quarter!
- Progression – opportunity to move into a BDM position in under 12 months. Other options to move into leadership or management further down the line.
- Hybrid Working – initially you’ll be required to be in the office 2 days per week. However, after your probation this will reduce to 1 day per week – giving you a lot of flexibility. You’ll be measured by your results, not where you do the job.
