As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team, working closely with our Social Media Manager (SMM) to generate new business opportunities.

Job Overview

The B2B Sales Development Representative will play a key role in driving new business by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for connecting with others. This role is essential for building a consistent pipeline of qualified leads that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect Identification & Outreach: Research and identify potential B2B clients through various channels, including online research, LinkedIn, and networking.
  • Lead Generation: Utilise cold calling, email, social media, and other outreach methods to generate new leads and create interest in Apply Minds' offerings.
  • Qualify Leads: Engage in initial conversations with potential clients to understand their needs, assess their fit for our services, and qualify them as potential leads.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings or demos with potential clients, ensuring smooth communication and a seamless transition of information to the SMM.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and organised records of all interactions with leads and prospects in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration with SMM: Work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure that lead generation efforts align with our target audience and strategic goals.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively communicate the value of our solutions.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed key performance indicators, including the number of qualified leads, meetings set, and conversion rates.

  • No specific qualifications are required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar B2B sales role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage prospects and build relationships.
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to identify potential leads and decision-makers within target organisations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
  • High level of motivation, self-discipline, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A collaborative team player who is eager to contribute to the success of the team.
