Role: Sales Development Representative
This role is within the Commercial department at UK Parking Control Ltd (UKPC) and aims to maximise the effectiveness of the Sales team by generating high-quality appointments and providing campaign support. As a key part of the team, you will be responsible for your own sales pipeline and will work in conjunction with both the internal and external team members to ensure that company sales objectives are delivered.
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

Full time, permanent
Hours:
Monday-Friday - 9am-5:30pm. Hybrid: 2x days per week in the office in Irlam, Manchester, 3x days working from remotely

Reporting into:
Head of Field Sales
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Identify potential opportunities with clients and book appointments for the sales team
- Undertaking both outbound and inbound calls
- Develop creative sales pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors
- Maintain and develop individual sales pipeline
- Manage the CRM database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business
- Work closely with the marketing team to achieve sales objectives
- Create good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are delivered
- Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing Best Practise Ideas
- Attend monthly meetings and strategy sessions with Commercial Department

Experience/knowledge/skills:
- Ability to persuade and influence to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible in approach, to adapt procedures to a new and more effective way of working
- Organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- Motivated to exceed sales targets
- Self-starter with the ability to use own initiative
- Computer literate/keyboard skills

Experience:
- Sales: 1x year (preferred)
- Telesales: 1x Year (preferred)
