Sales Development Representative

Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Fieldwire by Hilti

Who We’re Looking For

Fieldwire is seeking a driven and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to expand our presence in the construction industry by generating and qualifying new sales opportunities within the small and mid-sized business (SMB) segment. This is a stepping stone for those eager to enter tech sales, learn from a high-performing team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, helping to drive top-of-funnel activity and build a pipeline for the Account Executive team. Your role involves:

  • Engaging with leads from our Freemium sign-ups, marketing campaigns, and Hilti customers
  • Conducting outbound outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to convert prospects
  • Identifying and connecting with decision-makers in construction at SMBs
  • Coordinating discovery calls and product demos for our AE team
  • Collaborating with Account Executives and Construction Solutions Specialists to strengthen pipelines
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records in Salesforce
  • Mastering the value proposition of Fieldwire’s construction management platform
  • Staying updated on industry trends and competitors
  • Consistently exceeding targets for lead generation

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
  • A results-driven, coachable, and curious mindset
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to perform in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Familiarity with outbound sales tools (e.g., Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce) — a plus
  • Interest in construction tech or SaaS — a bonus

Compensation

The estimated pay structure for this role is structured as follows:

  • Annual Total Package (OTE): £55,000
    • Base Salary: Approx. £38,000
  • Variable Bonus Potential: Up to £17,000 (dependent on performance and eligibility)

The final salary offer will reflect your specific skills, qualifications, and experience. Additional perks and incentives may apply.


Location

This role is structured as a hybrid/WFH-office arrangement for the UK & Ireland, based in Manchester, UK.
