Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Charterhouse

The Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll focus on generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Outbound prospecting using tools such as HubSpot Sales Pro, Cognism, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoom.
  • Handling and converting inbound leads across a range of channels, including webchat, phone, email, and marketing campaign engagement.

You’ll target organisations with 500+ employees, engaging with senior decision-makers (e.g., CIO, CISO, CTO, Digital, Procurement) across various functions.

This is a commission-earning role, with payouts based on: ✔ Outbound meetings booked ✔ Inbound leads converted to meetings


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outbound meetings following Charterhouse’s defined prospecting process.
  • Convert inbound leads into qualified meetings for the new business team.
  • Track and report all engagement in key systems, including HubSpot and CRM (Dynamics).
  • Support campaigns and initiatives to convert interest into opportunities.

Measuring Success (KPIs)

  • Outbound meetings booked (monthly target).
  • % of inbound leads converted to meetings (monthly target).
  • Completion of activity steps in HubSpot.
  • Daily dial volumes (via Zoom).
  • Average deal value (measured in Y1 GP) from meetings, including a target conversion rate from SQL to quoted opportunities.

What You Bring

  • Experience in B2B telesales, ideally within tech, communications, or SaaS.
  • Proven ability to prospect senior decision-makers (CIO, CISO, CTO, Digital, Procurement).
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar prospecting tools.
  • Hands-on experience handling and converting inbound leads from diverse channels.
  • CRM literacy (e.g., Dynamics).
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • A strong team player, with a mindset focused on both team outcomes and individual KPIs.
  • Preferred: Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
