I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This company is a call tracking and conversation intelligence platform that helps marketing teams work out which campaigns actually make the phone ring, and which of those calls turn into real revenue. Their case studies are not fluff. One cruise line client saw a 40 percent increase in marketing profit off the back of it, and another drove a 37 percent year on year revenue increase using their AI powered call categorisation.
You will be doing proper outbound, not sitting on inbound leads. Structured, disciplined prospecting into approved target accounts, with success measured on qualified opportunities created rather than pipeline for the sake of pipeline. You are selling consultatively into marketers, so this suits someone who wants to have real, value-led conversations rather than rattle through a script.
