Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Join our ambitious and growing team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) supporting the Belgium Market in the heart of Manchester City Centre
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. This is a hybrid role, working in the Manchester office 3 days a week.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with decision-makers in the restaurant industry, helping them join the Deliveroo platform and develop their business. If you’re excited about mastering the ins and outs of the food business model, this is the perfect role for you. No previous sales experience is required – just bring your enthusiasm, people skills, and a passion for learning !

What will you do?
Both engage outbound leads and handle inbound inquiries to convert prospects into loyal/ performing Deliveroo partners. Acquire new business primarily by phone and email, spending several hours each day connecting with prospects. Build strong relationships with restaurant owners and managers, understanding their needs, and advising them on how Deliveroo can help their business grow. Develop food business model knowledge, becoming an expert in the sector and using this to guide your conversations with potential partners. Manage your sales pipeline, stay organised, and build daily action plans to meet monthly targets. Collaborate closely with ‘Activation Teams’ to ensure smooth onboarding for new partners, from contracts to photoshoots to tablet setups. Take care of administrative tasks, including handling contracts and customer documentation with precision and attention to detail.

What do we expect from you?
Fluency in Dutch/Flemish (spoken and written) – you’ll be working directly with the Dutch speaking prospects. Strong communication skills and confidence in spending several hours on the phone each day engaging with prospects. Organisational skills – you’ll need to stay on top of leads, manage your Pipeline & time effectively, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately. A customer-first mindset – you’ll be the face (and the voice) of Deliveroo, so it’s crucial to build trust and demonstrate our commitment to helping restaurant owners succeed. A drive to achieve sales targets and contribute to a high-performing team.
