Role Overview

We are currently looking for a motivated Graduate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a dynamic team at our client, a leading AI platform revolutionising product development in materials science, chemistry, and biology. Based in the UK, this is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates with a STEM background to kick-start their sales career in a fast-paced, innovative environment. From day one, you will be actively generating pipeline, engaging with industry professionals, and working closely with founders and senior sales leaders to develop invaluable skills that will shape your future in tech sales.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties as the Sales Development Representative will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Generate and qualify new sales leads through outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn, primarily targeting the DACH market.
  • Collaborate closely with an experienced Account Executive to nurture and convert pipeline opportunities.
  • Engage in introductory demos when appropriate, showcasing your understanding of the product and industry.
  • Continually learn about the industries served, product offerings, and sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong.
  • Travel to conferences and events within the EU, with potential opportunities to expand globally, approximately 25% of the time.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Sales Development Representative, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in a STEM field (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline), preferably from a Russell Group university, ideally graduated in 2022 or later.
  • Fluency in German, with strong communication skills and a natural aptitude for outreach and relationship-building.
  • Driven, resilient, organized, and analytical—capable of managing a large lead pool and prioritising effectively.
  • Genuine curiosity about technology, science, and understanding how businesses operate.
