Trainee Sales Development Representative (SDR)

£30,000 Base Salary | £60,000 OTE | 3% Commission on Every Deal You Generate

We're hiring a Trainee Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a growing healthcare media business that's partnered with some of the biggest names in pharma, biotech, and healthcare. Their work helps medical professionals around the world stay up to date through journals, podcasts, webinars, digital campaigns, and industry events.

What you'll be doing

As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, opening doors and creating opportunities for the wider sales team.

You'll be:

  • Prospecting and reaching out to pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare organizations.
  • Starting conversations with senior decision-makers over the phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualifying opportunities and booking meetings for Account Executives.
  • Learning how to build a strong sales pipeline and manage outreach campaigns.
  • Developing your commercial knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • Working towards targets while being supported by experienced sales leaders.

An interest or degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, Business, or Marketing is a bonus, but by no means essential.
