The Opportunity: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Gearset, you’ll be the first critical touchpoint for prospects and shape their perception of Gearset. Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching accounts to generate meaningful interest in our solutions
  • Delivering a best-in-class prospect experience that converts curiosity into opportunities
  • Utilising leading sales tools (Sales Navigator, Salesloft, and Sandler training) to refine your Techniques and achieve excellence
  • Employing a multi-channel outreach approach, ensuring variety and engagement—no two days are ever the same
  • Articulating Gearset’s technical solutions to address customer pain points effectively
  • Thriving in a collaborative sales environment, contributing to a culture that relies on competition and support to drive collective success

What You’ll Achieve

By fostering engaged leads and converting them into qualified opportunities, you’ll:

  • Contribute directly to team and business targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deepen your technical product knowledge, becoming a Gearset solution expert
  • Develop your sales arsenal with cutting-edge tools and strategies
  • Influence our product roadmap by sharing prospect feedback to the marketing and development teams, ensuring we continually enhance our offerings

About You: Key Requirements

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Passion for sales, with a desire to build a career in fast-growing tech companies
  • Self-motivation, a competitive yet collaborative spirit, and a drive to succeed
  • Ability to adapt and improve continually, while comfortably receiving and giving constructive feedback
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage professionally with prospects

Salary & Benefits

Compensation & Earnings

  • On-target earnings (uncapped): £33,250
  • Hybrid role: Monday–Friday, blending UK and US East Coast hours (1pm–9pm UK)
