Sales Development Representative
Location: Office based in Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £29,875 basic + £7,000 OTE Bonus
We’re looking for a motivated, driven, and resilient Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Partnerships team! This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of growing our service - a simple yet powerful platform that saves Letting Agents time and effort, while creating a new revenue stream for their business.
A little bit about our client
They are a tech business that bundle household bills into one fixed monthly payment. One payment means easier finances, less time on the phone to suppliers, and less admin. It’s a game changer.
It’s also a gorgeous place to work. Everybody gets stuck in to make things work, the team will make you feel welcome from day one, and the office is near some pretty great pubs.
What you’ll be doing
The Partnerships team is at the heart of our B2B growth. Around 60% of the sales leads our B2C teams work with come directly from partnerships with letting agencies across the UK. By helping us identify, engage, and onboard new partners, you’ll play a pivotal role in generating warm leads and driving company success.
Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Prospecting & discovery - Identify new partners through cold calling, email outreach, referrals from existing partners, and other channels. Qualify prospects by understanding their business needs and challenges.
- Lead generation & pipeline building - Consistently create, nurture, and manage a pipeline of opportunities to hit monthly targets. This is a target-driven role where activity, persistence, and results are key.
- Demonstrations - Deliver tailored virtual demos of our platform, matching its features and benefits to the specific pain points and objectives of each potential partner.
- Onboarding - Support new partners through their first 30 days on the platform, ensuring they’re confident using our platform and set up for long-term success.
- Market engagement - Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and opportunities. You may also attend networking events and exhibitions to strengthen relationships and drive new leads. Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.
- Driving growth - As part of the only B2B sales function in the business, your efforts directly fuel the growth of our B2C teams and the wider company.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
