The Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in driving growth by generating leads for the sales team. As an SDR, you'll engage with potential customers through various channels to qualify leads and set up appointments or demos. Collaborating closely with marketing and sales, you'll identify opportunities and nurture prospects through the sales funnel, contributing to the company's success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
You must be someone who is excited to launch a career in sales and passionate about developing and maintaining relationships. You will be outgoing and have a results-oriented mindset.
Essential Experience
- Business related degree or similar qualification
- Previous inside sales experience at a Managed Service Provider or Microsoft Partner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects over the phone, email, and social media
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft products and cloud solutions (e.g. Azure, Microsoft 365)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Responsibilities:
On a daily basis your varied role will include:
- Managing and prioritising leads to ensure a consistent flow of qualified opportunities into the sales pipeline
- Proactively and consistently making a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day to meet the company’s expectations and qualify potential customers
- Responsibility for developing potential target prospects and identifying key decision makers to understand their challenges, needs, and preferences
- Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline
- Driving engagement through LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other similar tools
- Providing daily reports to the CCO, detailing the calls you have made, conversations that have taken place, and meetings that have been booked
- Communicating clearly at all levels both verbally and written
- Working collaboratively with the Sales Team to ensure you have the support you need to achieve targets and to hand off qualified leads
- Provide regular updates and feedback to the sales team on market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities.
- Adhering to good corporate compliance ensuring the data you work on is up to date, compliant, and accurate
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive landscapes
- Continuously refine and improve outbound prospecting strategies and techniques based on feedback
- Providing weekly reports to the Sales Director
