An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Sales Development Representative to join a growing B2B events business within the People and Education Markets.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and creating commercial opportunities. You'll play a key role in generating new business, engaging prospective sponsors and exhibitors, and booking qualified meetings for the wider commercial team while developing your own sales career.

Working within a collaborative, high-performing team, you'll gain exposure to the full sponsorship sales process with excellent progression opportunities into a Sales Manager role.

The Role:

  • Identifying and engaging prospective sponsors and exhibitors across the People and Education Markets.
  • Building relationships with key decision-makers through outbound calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Generating qualified opportunities for the commercial team.
  • Researching target accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Booking high-quality meetings with prospective clients.
  • Working closely with Sales Managers to support pipeline growth.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and activity tracking.
  • Attending industry events to build relationships and generate leads.

About You:

  • Previous experience in an SDR, BDR, Delegate Sales, or B2B sales role.
  • Confident making outbound calls and engaging new prospects.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
  • Organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Keen to develop a long-term career in sponsorship and commercial sales.
