Sales Development Representative (SDR), FinTech SaaS

📍 Newcastle upon Tyne | Hybrid Working (2–3 days per week)
đź’° Competitive Salary + Uncapped Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Are you an SDR who creates opportunities rather than waits for them?

Do you enjoy researching prospects, picking up the phone, opening conversations and building pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting?

If you're looking to join one of the UK's fastest-growing FinTech SaaS companies at an exciting stage of its growth, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

We're partnering with a rapidly growing FinTech software business as they establish a brand-new office in Newcastle. They're looking for an ambitious, driven Sales Development Representative to become one of the first members of their North East sales team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth organisation where SDRs are genuinely invested in, developed and given a clear path into Account Executive and beyond.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced sales and marketing team, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities with mid-market organisations across the UK.

You'll have the support of a strong marketing function, but success in this role comes from having an outbound-first mentality. This business is looking for someone who doesn't sit back and wait for leads—they go out and create opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
