Leading Fire Safety and Data Collection Enterprise | Sales Development Representative | London (Hybrid) | £50K Base + Uncapped Commission

About the Company

Our client is a high-growth B2B data provider doubling in size every 12 months. Their platform is widely regarded as the most comprehensive data and fire safety solution on the market.

They are scaling fast but refuse to be weighed down by corporate bureaucracy. Instead, they are looking to improve operations while preserving the agile, high-energy culture that made them successful.

We are looking for someone highly motivated who knows how to work hard and wants to be rewarded properly for the revenue they generate.

About the Role

As the first dedicated SDR, you won’t just follow a playbook - you’ll write it. Our client has the hard stuff sorted: a market-leading product, deep industry credibility, and an overwhelming flood of inbound interest from major events and campaigns.

The problem? Right now, they lack the bandwidth to capture it all. When demos pick up, outreach stops, and valuable leads decay.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is NOT a generic dialler role chasing mindless activity metrics. We need a spectacularly driven builder to take extreme ownership, optimise the CRM, and turn raw market demand into a highly qualified pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Own the response to every inbound demo request and enquiry, with the speed and consistency that turns interest into a booked conversation.
  • Work event and campaign leads systematically, so investment in industry events and marketing actually translates into pipeline.
  • Run targeted outbound prospecting into the segments the business wants to grow, across safety, compliance and property.
  • Qualify every lead against clear criteria, and hand the right ones cleanly into the sales pipeline.
  • Keep the CRM accurate and consistent so the business can see what is working, where the gaps are, and where to invest next.
  • Build and refine the process as you go. This role gets to shape how it is done, not just follow what someone else wrote.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a B2B SaaS outbound or sales development role. Industry experience in safety, compliance or property is a bonus, but not essential – this is a process-driven role.

  • Comfortable picking up the phone, not just sending emails.
  • Curious, organised, and motivated by ownership rather than activity targets.
  • A team player who wants to help build something, rather than slot into someone else’s machine.

Benefits

  • up to £50,000 base + Uncapped Commission
  • Commission structure rewarding qualified demos booked
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • The chance to be the first dedicated SDR and shape the function from day one
