Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative at RotaCloud, you’ll be the first engaging point of contact for many businesses—whether they’re exploring a free trial or discovering us for the first time. You’ll proactively re-engage trial users, initiate outreach to new businesses, and conduct structured discovery conversations to identify workforce management challenges. By booking high-quality meetings for our Account Executives, you’ll ensure meaningful interactions that drive conversions.

Sitting at the heart of Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, you’ll act as the commercial lead for every opportunity, sharing market insights and addressing friction points to enhance the buying journey. How prospects experience RotaCloud begins with you—help shape a seamless and engaged lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

Pipeline Engagement & Qualification

  • Proactively re-engage prospects during their free trial via phone, email, and in-app messaging to boost adoption and reduce churn.
  • Follow up with users who’ve ended their trial to understand gaps and reignite interest where possible.
  • Conduct structured discovery calls to assess customer context, pain points, buying processes, and product fit.
  • Identify and target new businesses with zero prior engagement, leveraging cold outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn) to introduce RotaCloud.

Solution Selling, Demos & Proposals

  • Identify opportunities by asking targeted questions and aligning solutions to prospects’ needs.
  • Qualify leads against ideal customer criteria before handing off to sales.
  • Book highly relevant demos and meetings for Account Executives, ensuring a seamless handoff with comprehensive context.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
