Sales Director - Electronics – Berks (3 days per week) – Perm – up to £100K plus bonus + car/ allowance + great benefits

Are you a commercially driven sales leader with a background in technical solutions, electronics, engineering, or industrial technology?

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Sales Director or senior sales leader looking to make a significant impact within a growing, technology-focused business operating across multiple high-growth sectors.

Our client is a highly respected international technology business that partners with leading manufacturers and OEMs to deliver complex, design-led solutions across a diverse range of high-growth markets.

With ambitious expansion plans and a strong reputation for technical excellence, they are seeking a strategic and hands-on Sales Director to lead and develop a high-performing sales organisation across the UK and Ireland.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth, increasing profitability, and strengthening customer relationships across multiple industry sectors.

  • Leading a team of Sales Managers, Field Sales Engineers and Internal Sales professionals, you will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, enhancing customer engagement and ensuring a structured, data-driven sales approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's sales and growth strategy.
  • Lead, coach and inspire a multi-disciplinary sales team.
  • Drive revenue, margin and profit growth across existing and new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Champion effective CRM utilisation and sales pipeline management.
  • Drive new business generation and design-win activity.
  • Implement robust forecasting processes and performance measurement.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop targeted growth initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between customer requirements and technical solution offerings.
  • Support the development of the business as a recognised solutions provider within its markets.

About You

You will be a proven sales leader with the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational excellence.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or technical discipline.
  • Demonstrable success leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue growth.
  • Experience within electronics, technical components, engineering solutions, industrial technology or a related sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing complex customer relationships and strategic accounts.
  • Strong forecasting, planning and CRM management experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
