PCB Sales Director Opportunity
PCB is looking for a commercially driven and highly ambitious Sales Director to lead business development activities across the UK market.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven sales professional who combines strong hunting capabilities with the ability to manage and develop a small commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
The role includes direct management of both Business Development and Account Management functions and offers a potential future path towards a broader Commercial Leadership position as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & New Customer Acquisition
- Develop and execute a UK sales growth strategy
- Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers across target sectors
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions
- Maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline
- Deliver agreed revenue and margin targets
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop the Business Development Manager responsible for prospecting and new business generation
- Manage and support the Account Manager responsible for existing customer growth and retention
- Conduct regular pipeline, forecast and performance reviews
- Create a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and results
- Coach and mentor team members to maximize commercial effectiveness

Commercial Excellence
- Ensure effective use of CRM and accurate sales forecasting
- Define and monitor key commercial KPIs
- Improve sales processes, reporting standards and opportunity management
- Collaborate closely with operational and leadership teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and delivery
Strategic Contribution
- Act as a key commercial partner to the Managing Director and Regional Leadership Team
- Identify emerging market opportunities, customer trends and competitive threats
- Support development of the company’s long-term commercial strategy
- Contribute to organisational growth and future team expansion
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an individual who is first and foremost a successful salesperson.
Essential Requirements
- Proven track record of winning and growing strategic customer accounts
- Strong experience in B2B business development and solution selling
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Experience managing or mentoring commercial teams
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Preferred Experience
- Facilities Management, Technical Services, Retail, Multi-site Operations or related sectors
- Experience working within a growing or transforming business
- Exposure to international organisations and matrix environments

Within the first 12–18 months, the successful candidate will:
- Strengthen and grow the UK sales pipeline
- Deliver measurable new business wins
- Build a high-performing commercial structure covering both hunting and farming activities
- Increase customer engagement and account development effectiveness
- Create scalable sales processes and forecasting discipline
- Position themselves as a future commercial leader within the organisation
