Our client, an established provider within an international group, serves organisations throughout the UK with trusted expertise in professional and regulatory disciplines. The business is increasingly investing in digital products, AI-driven solutions, and innovation to support growing demand and strengthened digital offerings.
With a consistent revenue stream and significant content and intellectual property assets, this phase of expansion demands impactful leadership to champion the next stage of commercial growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial growth, sales performance, and strategic market expansion
- Lead business development to identify and capitalise on new revenue opportunities
- Provide strategic direction for a high-performing sales team and key client relationships -Assume ownership of sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, and budget supervision to deliver ambitious commercial objectives
- Shape and support commercial and marketing strategies, driving sustainable revenue growth within an increasingly competitive digital landscape
- Contribute directly to senior leadership in strategising and refining overall business direction
- Foster collaboration across marketing, finance, product, and operational teams to support strategic objectives

Leadership & Guiding Principles
The Sales Director must:
- Excel in strategic and operational leadership to balance overall growth with tactical execution
- Inspire high performance through collaborative and pragmatic leadership while reinforcing accountability
- Actively influence business direction, adopting an entrepreneurial drive with a focus on continuous improvement
- Foster a high-performing, results-driven culture by developing talent and nurturing influence
- Clear credibility to effectively engage senior stakeholders in defining and delivering commercial goals
About You (Experience)
- Proven expertise as a Sales Director, Head of Business Development, Commercial Director, or equivalent senior role
- B2B sales and revenue growth track record, particularly in SaaS, subscription services, information solutions, or consultative sales environments
- Deeply knowledgeable in formulating and executing high-impact sales strategies
- Teach-to-fail mentality in building robust commercial frameworks and processes

Location & Benefits
- Primary Location: Ashford (with options for hybrid working)
- Salary: Competitive base salary plus performance-related bonus
