Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio: Ensure strong relationships and consistent value delivery.
- Develop new business opportunities: Expanding our presence and acquiring new clients.
- Account Management & Growth: Own and expand your book of business, exceeding sales targets through a focus on both new client acquisition and enhancing existing relationships.
- Proactive Client Engagement: Take a hands-on approach in managing your accounts, minimizing cancellations, and ensuring long-term client value and satisfaction.
- Contract Management: Oversee contracts for new and renewal business, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a timely and smooth process.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Partner with sales professionals, product management, Pre-Sales, after-sales consultants, and support teams to deliver exceptional solutions for clients.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts using Salesforce CRM, ensuring visibility and alignment across the organization.
- Client Success: Leverage Morningstar products and expertise to provide tailored solutions that empower your clients to succeed.

Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent with a financial or analytical discipline preferred.
- Candidates should have 5+ years of selling Financial Data solutions ideally from a provider such as Factset, FE Fundinfo, ICE Data Services, or LSEG.
- Experience of selling into a wide range of institutional clients. Buy and Sell side, Data Vendors, and Media.
- Proven track record of exceeding prior targets.
- Excellent networking skills.
- Hands-on, organized individual who can build long-term client relationships.
- Strong leadership, long-range planning, and time-management skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and the ability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations.
- Comfortable working in a high-performance team environment and the ability to work independently with limited oversight.
- A naturally charismatic person who can bring others along easily with them.
- Strong business instincts, good judgment, and creative mindset.
- Impeccable character with high ethical and quality standards.
- Extreme attention to detail.

Base Salary Compensation Range
GBP 79.000,00 - 115.000,00
Commission Target:
66,67% Annual
This role offers a commission target which may vary by up to ±15% depending on final plan design and business factors.
We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
Morningstar's hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to collaborate in-person each week as we've found that we're at our best when we're purposely together on a regular basis.
