Sales Director | FBED Labs
Senior enough to build the department. Hands-on enough to launch the product.
FBED Labs is building a new generation of commercial intelligence software. We're moving from a profitable, founder-led company into a scalable software business — and we're now building the senior leadership team that will take our product, Cascade, from launch-ready to launched, adopted and scaled.
We're hiring a Sales Director to build and lead our sales function as we enter our next stage of growth. You'll work directly with our CEO and COO to shape the sales motion, build pipeline, support early enterprise deals, develop partnerships, and turn founder-led sales into a repeatable revenue engine.
This is a senior commercial leadership role, but the first phase is hands-on — getting close to the market, joining calls, understanding objections, helping close early deals, and using that learning to build the process and team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This role is for you if you're senior enough to build the revenue function and hands-on enough to help close the first phase of growth — someone who treats early sales leadership as market learning and team building, not just management.
It's not for you if you only want to manage an existing sales team or apply a generic SaaS playbook without understanding the product and market. We need someone who can build the function, not just inherit it.
