Sales Director required for a growing SaaS Solutions Provider
Paying up to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits, inc Car Allowance
This is a Remote role with regular weekly travel throughout the UK to build long-term relationships with new customers.
About the Role
This is an ambitious and growing SaaS technology business looking for a new Sales Director to lead their sales function, in order to drive new sales pipelines for their latest version and updated SaaS solutions - including integration of AI.
This is NOT a role where you'll inherit a mature team, a full pipeline and simply manage activity, instead we're looking for a Sales Director who enjoys creating opportunities, building momentum almost from scratch, and both lead and deliver New Logo sales.
Responsibilities
As Sales Director you will be an integral part of the business's shift to win long term, enterprise clients - which of course take time and solid relationships - with a genuinely stand-out product.
From a Sales perspective this is a product that has multiple USPs, when compared with similar competitors, as well as some fantastic case studies and social proof to work with.

- Working very closely with the CEO and wider leadership team - giving you excellent senior leadership visibility
- Help define the go-to-market strategy, develop new business opportunities and create a scalable sales pipeline of high level relationships to support long-term growth. (This is relationship-led, not quick win sales)
- The business is investing heavily in its future, refining its marketing spend and direction, and focusing on larger, more strategic customers
- You'll enjoy a face to face, consultative, value-led sales approach, with a product suite that can make a genuine difference and value-add for the customer.
- As Sales Director, you'll be responsible for developing and executing the new logo business strategy, building a qualified sales pipeline and creating relationships with senior decision makers across your target market.
- You'll also play a key role in shaping the future sales team, helping establish best practice, coaching future hires and creating a culture built around accountability, transparency and performance.
- SaaS and Product focused sales, with value-add selling, is key to succeed in this market - as well as being in front of customers

Requirements
Current experience may be along the following lines:
- Must have strong SaaS and Subscription model experience
- Asset Management Software, Facilities Management Software or IoT would be interesting to see; something SaaS managing real-products and not just digital solutions
- A mindset to understand customer challenges and delivering measurable business value is central to the sales process.
- Enterprise new business sales success, building pipelines from scratch and evidence of converting opportunities into revenue
- Success operating within an SME or SaaS growth environment
- A data-driven and commercially focused approach - this is an invested Salesforce business and needs to be utilised properly
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
