Lead the commercial growth of a private equity-backed infrastructure business.

We're exclusively partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed business to recruit an experienced Sales Director.

This is a key leadership appointment, offering the opportunity to shape the commercial strategy, build a high-performing sales function and drive the next phase of business growth.

Operating within complex, long-cycle sales environments, success is built on developing trusted customer relationships, identifying future opportunities and positioning the business as the partner of choice long before formal procurement begins.

The Role

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you'll lead the commercial function, taking responsibility for strategic account management, new business development and overall sales performance.

  • You'll develop long-term relationships with key customers, implement a structured approach to account management and build a proactive outbound sales strategy that delivers sustainable revenue growth.
  • Working closely with technical, operational and marketing teams, you'll ensure opportunities are developed effectively from initial engagement through to contract award, while introducing robust CRM processes, forecasting and commercial reporting to improve visibility and performance.
  • Alongside driving revenue, you'll coach and develop the sales team, creating a collaborative, commercially focused culture built around accountability, customer insight and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
