Location: UK based

Salary: Up to £110,000 base plus bonus and benefits!


Our client is a Global Niche Luxury Fragrance house who is currently looking for an established Retail Director UK/I

The Role

The Retail Director UK & Ireland is responsible for leading the retail strategy, commercial performance, and operational excellence of the brand's retail presence across the UK and Ireland. This role will drive sales growth while protecting and elevating the brand's positioning as a luxury fragrance house, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the highest standards of service, storytelling, and craftsmanship.

Working closely with wholesale partners, boutique teams, marketing, training, visual merchandising, and global headquarters, the Retail Director will develop and execute a retail strategy that delivers exceptional commercial results while maintaining the exclusivity and prestige of the brand.

This is a highly visible leadership position requiring a commercially astute luxury retail professional with a passion for fragrance, client experience, and people development.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the retail strategy and performance across the UK & Ireland.
  • Deliver sales, profitability, and productivity targets.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams.
  • Ensure an exceptional luxury client experience across all retail locations.
  • Build strong relationships with key retail and wholesale partners.
  • Oversee retail operations, ensuring brand standards and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Training, Finance, HR, and Global teams to execute launches and retail initiatives.
  • Analyse performance, identify opportunities, and implement actions to drive growth.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the business internally and externally.

What You Need:

  • Significant senior retail leadership experience within luxury retail, beauty, fragrance, or a related sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial results across a multi-site retail environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and retail performance.
  • Passion for luxury retail and delivering exceptional client experiences.
