Sales Director – Care Home Technology

Sales Director – Care Home Technology

UK Based | Care Home Sector

£90,000 - £110,000 + Executive Package

Barnaby Stewart Executive Search is working with a growing care technology business that supplies systems into the UK care home market.

The business has a strong product, an established sector focus, and a clear opportunity to grow further across care home groups.

This role needs someone who can sell into the care home sector properly. Someone who can speak to owners, CEOs, COOs, Operations Directors, and Regional Directors with credibility, and understand the pressures they are dealing with day to day.

The successful candidate will take ownership of sales growth across the care home market.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building senior relationships across care home groups, operators, and owners.
  • Opening new opportunities and managing larger group sales conversations.
  • Bringing more structure, discipline, and consistency to the commercial process.
  • Working closely with the leadership team to turn market interest into signed contracts.
  • Representing the business properly in a sector where trust and credibility matter.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

That may come from digital care planning, eMAR, rostering, compliance systems, workforce technology, falls prevention, acoustic monitoring, resident safety technology, or another product or service sold directly into care home operators.

The important thing is that they understand how this market buys.

The successful candidate is likely to bring:

  • A proven track record selling into care homes or adult social care.
  • Strong relationships across operators, owners, senior management teams, or group decision-makers.
  • The ability to open doors, qualify properly, and close business.
  • A practical understanding of the pressures care providers are under.
  • A hands-on, commercial approach without overcomplicating the sale.

This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to join a care technology business at the point where the market is becoming more serious about digital systems, operational oversight, and better use of data.

Technology in care is no longer a nice extra.

Used properly, it helps operators run safer, more efficient, and better evidenced services. But this sector does not buy from people who just talk about platforms and dashboards. It buys from people who understand care homes.

That is what this role requires.
