Location: London, UK / Hybrid Remote ([Expectation: in-office on Wednesdays and Thursdays])

About the Role

We are expanding, and we need to hire an experienced Sales Director for our EMEA Sales team. Your role will be central to expanding our Enterprise SaaS footprint across Financial Services and multiple high-growth sectors:

  • • Manufacturing
  • • Energy
  • • Metals & Mining
  • • Utilities

Key Focus Areas:

  • Growing new revenue streams through strategic relationship-building
  • Driving pipeline development through organically generated opportunities
  • Expanding existing accounts: scaling retention and upselling

This is an individual contributor role focused on selling to the UK/Continental Europe, with a laser focus on generating pipeline and closing SaaS deals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine a proactive outbound pipeline, engaging prospects through strategic contact and account networking
  • Lead and execute sales campaigns—meeting annual targets with a proven sales methodology (MEDDICC):
    • Mandatory-to-have criteria
    • Economic buy visible
    • Decision criteria measured
    • Decision process identified
    • Champion identified
    • Identification of the relationship (phases of sell cycle)
    • Identify the interests at stake
  • Sustain and nurture client relationships across the entire sales cycle, focusing on land-and-expand strategies through referrals
  • Become a solutions consultant:
    • Master AI, security, and productivity industry trends
    • Align HERE’s capabilities with customer-specific challenges and priorities
  • Develop HERE technical expertise:
    • Rapidly understand and articulate the value proposition for product and technology
    • Represent HERE in industry events and assist with lead generation strategies

What We’re Looking For

Critical Requirements:

  • 6+ years of direct SaaS sales experience in Financial Services & at least one additional industry (manufacturing, energy, metals & mining, utilities)
  • Confident comfort selling to UK & Continental Europe markets (focused on UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain)
  • Proven track record of generating and closing technical commercial deals via direct outreach and pipeline leadership
  • Strong grasp of technical concepts + ability to explain value propositions creatively to drive stakeholder alignment
  • Expertise in managing stakeholder communication across conception to sale completion
  • Passionate interest in emerging tech solutions (especially HERE’s security + productivity + AI offerings)

Soft Skills & Attitudes:

  • High-energy entrepreneurial drive with a demonstrated success mindset
  • Multilingual advantage (Fluidity in a second European language preferred)
  • Clear communication (verbal, written, aptitude for negotiation, strong presentation skills)
