Sales Director – Hybrid – Exclusive
Oliver Sanderson is partnered with a leading international energy services organisation operating at the forefront of energy, smart infrastructure and digital services. We are looking to appoint a Sales Director.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving growth across three core divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading national sales and account development across three technical service lines Delivering new business growth and expanding key strategic accounts Building and executing account development and go-to-market strategies Driving revenue growth of circa £10m – £20m+, within a wider ambition to double business turnover over 3 years Leading, developing and inspiring a high-performing sales team (c. 13–14 heads) Owning complex, solution-led sales cycles ranging from 6 months to multi-year infrastructure contracts Building senior-level client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to key customers Working closely with operations to ensure commercial propositions are deliverable, scalable and profitable Identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across existing and new accounts Ensuring disciplined pipeline management, forecasting and performance reporting

Skills & Experience:
Proven leadership of high-performing sales teams in a B2B environment Strong background in energy, infrastructure, FM, engineering, smart technology or adjacent sectors Experience selling long-cycle, high-value, contract-based solutions A strong “hunter” mentality combined with strategic account development capability Ability to operate effectively in matrix organisations Strong commercial acumen and experience shaping large-scale deals Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and unlocking complex customer relationships A hands-on, entrepreneurial leadership style with the ability to scale teams and performance.
