Boyden is partnering with a well-established B2B distribution business to appoint a Sales Director to help lead the next phase of growth.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a high-impact leadership role within an established independent business serving the construction sector through distributors and builders’ merchants.
The Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening commercial effectiveness and leading a high-volume sales organisation across both internal and external sales channels. A key focus of the role will be to modernise the sales function, embed greater structure and accountability, improve CRM usage, and support the delivery of stronger growth, tighter pricing discipline and improved profitability.

Key requirements
You will bring proven success leading a B2B sales function at Sales Director, Commercial Director or equivalent level, with experience including:

- Strong background in distribution, wholesale, trade supply, industrial products, hardware, components or adjacent technical products
- Experience managing a multi-SKU, stock-led, service-driven business
- Clear evidence of owning and growing revenue performance
- Experience leading key account or national account activity with larger customers
- A track record of building structure, discipline and accountability across a sales team.
