Sales Director, L&P
Sapiens is a leading global provider of software solutions for the insurance industry. We are seeking a Sales Executive/Director to focus on generating new business for our Life & Pensions Division. Proven experience selling SaaS or complex software solutions, alongside solid knowledge of the insurance industry, would be a strong advantage.
Working model: Remote (UK), with regular global travel expectations
Main responsibilities:
Be responsible for generating incremental sales within the customer base and new logos in the Life and Pensions domain. Undertake and be accountable for necessary lead generation activities to drive penetration of target organizations. Accurately assess and qualify opportunities. Be accountable for the development and execution of the sales strategy. Drive the sales process through each stage of the sales cycle including Qualification, Develop, Solution and Prove, through to Close. Engage and work confidently with senior business management and 'C' level executives, to progress sales opportunities. Manage relationships with key executives’ clients to create trust and partnerships. Produce accurate forecasts of pending business to enable sales management to consolidate accurate forecasts. Act as professional ambassador for Sapiens, communicating the company ethos to prospects and customers. Attend seminars, exhibitions and trade shows, as required.

Your profile:
Extensive sales experience within the Insurance market with, ideally, Life and Pensions knowledge. Proven track record working for a Born‑in‑the‑Cloud or Cloud‑Native technology company, ideally within SaaS, insurance platforms, digital transformation, or cloud‑based ecosystems. Proven track record of closing high value deals (£10M+) as well as cross selling to existing customers. Practical experience of dealing at ‘C’ level. Must have general business understanding Insurance, including the technology and platforms available. Understands a consultative selling approach, able to work with colleagues within the client’s buyer network and be able to craft solutions that will provide business benefits. Understanding of how projects are planned and executed. Excellent interpersonal skills and able to establish positive relationships with clients and colleagues. Self-starter and results orientated mentality: highly motivated and driven to succeed. A willingness to travel extensively. Preferably educated to degree level or suitable relevant experience.
