I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Do
Own and exceed a new business sales quota focused on mid-market hotel groups and branded properties across Europe. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, lead generation, partnerships, and event engagement. Lead complex RFP processes, delivering tailored proposals that speak to client needs and differentiate our offering. Close deals by understanding client pain points, effectively presenting value propositions, and navigating multi-stakeholder decision cycles. Collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership teams to refine our value proposition, messaging, and market positioning. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence and generate leads. Develop and maintain deep industry knowledge, particularly regarding PMS trends, competitive landscape, and customer challenges. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships and contributing to ongoing account growth. Work cross-functionally to feedback market insights and support continuous product and process improvement.
Who You Are

Deep understanding of hotel operations and Property Management Systems (PMS). Strong hospitality industry background, with existing networks a plus. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Highly commercial, with the ability to design creative deal structures and ROI-driven proposals. Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and managing complex sales cycles across multiple countries. Experience selling across European markets, with cultural and linguistic adaptability. Ability to travel regularly for client meetings, events, and internal workshops. Fluent in English; additional European languages a plus.
