Sales Director - (New Business)

Position Purpose

As a Sales Director, New Hire Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the future of our sales force. This critical position is focused on building and executing a comprehensive post-onboarding program, ensuring that new hires in the Acquire IT department are prepared and well-equipped to succeed.

In this position, you will:

  • Develop a high-performance team comprised of 6–10 junior to veteran sales staff in their first 6–8 months with the organisation.
  • Shape, improve, and refine the sales strategy of the organisation in partnership with other Sales Directors and your manager, RVP of Acquire.
  • Drive big impact within a dynamic team.

We are seeking a candidate who has demonstrated success in both sales and people management.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously refine an effective post-onboarding strategy and program, with a goal of 80%+ new hire productivity (first sale) within 90–120 days.
  • Set and manage performance milestones for new hires, including:
    • Discovery certification
    • Scheduling of appointments
    • Closing of new members
  • Monitor, manage, and report on sales metrics on a weekly/monthly basis, adjusting business objectives as required.
  • Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on:
    • Performance indicators
    • Market research
    • Competitive analysis
  • Evaluate the success of sales programs and implement changes to ensure goals are achieved, focusing on:
    • Increasing meetings
    • Growing revenue, profit, and market share
    • Expanding the net customer base
  • Manage and develop internal sales staff through:
    • Supervision
    • Coaching/training
    • Monitoring activities
    • Participating in performance assessments
  • Monitor, provide coaching, and conduct QA sessions on recorded sales conversations.
  • Assist in sales conversations and offer on-call support to ensure successful account acquisition and client satisfaction.
  • Promote a positive corporate image of Info-Tech by maintaining appropriate standards in all sales, support, and service delivery activities.
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenues.
  • Maintain high levels of engagement and the ability to drive collaborative and supportive team culture.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of front-line sales experience, preferably gained in a highly transactional B2B sales environment, with a consistent track record of hitting targets.

Language Skills

  • Bilingual proficiency in German or Swiss German is considered an asset to engage effectively with our client base.

Remote/In-Office Policy

The position offers a hybrid schedule: four days in our London, UK office and one day working remotely.

    • Address issues before they impact performance and results.
  • Business acumen – Use knowledge of the business environment and IT to engage customers (preferred).
  • Self-awareness – Self-motivated with awareness and understanding of personal strengths and areas of development (preferred).
  • Experience in an advisory, information, and/or business services organisation (preferred).
