Sales Director
Build the Sales Engine Behind the Next Stage of EdTech Growth
Mission-led business
UK focused with international growth
Hybrid. North London team meetings, and customer visits.
We are partnering with a fast-growing edtech business who supports schools to improve teaching, and student results, through a high-quality platform and implementation model. This has led to impressive growth, 60% of their new business comes from word-of-mouth and referrals. Commercially, they have little in place.
The company is entering its next stage of growth and is seeking a senior commercial leader to build a more scalable, data-driven sales engine. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for new business growth, team development, sales process, and cross-functional commercial strategy.
The opportunity
This role will suit a commercially strong leader who enjoys building, coaching, and improving systems, rather than simply managing business as usual.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will:
- Build a systematic sales engine
- Grow business across new priority segments
- Develop the existing team and recruit new sales talent
- Improve forecasting, CRM, and KPI discipline
- Work closely with marketing and customer success
- Contribute to pricing evolution
- Help shape UK and international growth plans in new priority segments

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
